We Humans are Physical but this Earthly realm is where we evolve in Spirit. As a Journalist, writer and freelance investigator/thinker my job is to go to the source both Physical and in Spirit to find Truth.
If we liken our spiritual journey to a river we are better able to explain to ourselves in our minds some unexplainable things regarding Spirit.
Just as a rivers source is up a height, our Spirit comes from above. A river starts as a small trickle at it’s source and is at it’s purest. The rivers journey to the sea follows the most logical route and its speed and depth varies depending on terrain. The river often meanders and it tends to grow as it flows. In ideal conditions the river delivers life enhancing minerals and nutrients to the sea at journeys end.
Because of Human industry and modern farming, rivers can pick up harmful chemicals and be contaminated with life harming substances. Luckily the dangers of pollution and the detrimental effects to life are now well know and understood so we tend to look after our rivers.
Evolution of Spirit is a bit like the evolution of a river from source to journeys end. Instead of pollution think deception and misinformation. Instead of journeys end think Individuality or the freedom to be and accept our True Selves through the realisation of TRUTH, UNDERSTANDING and TOTAL SELF AWARENESS. In a way the sea might represent the Source since on Earth, life giving fresh water is contained in a closed loop system. Sea, rain, river and then a return back to the sea.
The terrain of life guides us and changes us. If we use our sacred knowledge of Good and Evil we can discern for ourselves the difference between life enhancing minerals and nutrients and the pollution which blights and destroys life.
The good news is, the terrain which the River of Life must flow through guides us in such a way as to cause us to grow in Spirit. The longer we flow the easier it becomes to recognise not just the pollution but to recognise the ones who are standing on the river bank ready to fly-tip even more of their rubbish into the river. Like all fly-tippers they don’t want to get caught in the act. Once exposed they are finished. Since their rubbish IS deception it can not decieve us when we find the truth which has always been within our hearts. xx
